NCST Quarterly Newsletter - Issue No: 015 January - March 2025
The National Council for Science and Technology (NCST) is pleased to announce the release of its Quarterly Newsletter – Issue No. 015. This edition highlights NCST’s ongoing efforts to advance innovation and promote strategic leadership in technology transfer, research, and commercialization within Rwanda’s growing innovation ecosystem.
Notable in this issue is the completion of the National Technology Transfer and Commercialization Strategy, a key milestone designed to bridge the gap between research institutions and industry, thereby accelerating Rwanda’s socio-economic transformation.
The newsletter also features insights from a Strategic Management and Leadership Workshop, which equipped researchers and innovators with essential leadership skills to drive the national innovation agenda. Additionally, it provides updates on Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) field visits, tracking the progress and impact of selected funded projects geared toward commercialization. Highlights from the Rwanda Research and Innovation Repository workshop are also included, marking the foundation for a national digital platform aimed at enhancing research visibility and fostering collaboration.
