Rwanda Innovation Challenge

In line with NST-1 intervention to strengthening the national innovation capacity and promoting technology breakthroughs; NCST through the National Research and Innovation Fund (NRIF) has established a Rwanda Innovation Challenge programme to support thirty six (36) innovation projects from youth, scientists, researchers and entrepreneurs. This program started implementing the incubation services in December 2020 and has a period of one year. The incubation services are provided to awardees by  LEAP APPLIED RESEARCH LABS and PRC KIGALI PRIVATE CONSULTING COMPANY whereby they Coordinate, facilitate, and engage RIC beneficiaries in innovative activities that are geared towards improving their skills, developing commercially viable products, business formation, creating jobs, and ensuring overall societal impact.
