Academia Industry Collaboration

In line with Promoting research and development as a key to fast-tracking Rwanda’s economic transformation especially in the area of technology for industrial development, a programme of Academia-Industry Collaboration Research Grant has been established by NCST through  the National Research and Innovation Fund (NRIF)  and 19 research projects are being supported to address research issues in areas of Agriculture, Manufacuring, energy, environment, ICT and environment through implementation by academia and industry sector. The projects have started implementation in January 2021 and are expected to have a different durations from 2 years up to 4 years depending on the project category
