STI Status Report and R&D Survey Results Dissemination Workshop

The National Council for Science and Technology (NCST) is launching and disseminating report findings on Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Status in Rwanda reference for 2019/20, and Research and Experimental Development (R&D) survey, reference for 2018/19 through a hybrid (physical and virtual) workshop on 11th November 2021.

The objectives of this dissemination workshop are to:

  • Present key findings of the STI status, reference year 2019/2020;
  • Present key findings of the R&D survey report, reference year 2018/2019;
  • Deliberate with stakeholders’ views on implementation of recommendations from the reports and their involvement in the future STI and R&D surveys;
  • Launch of Grand Challenges Academia-Industry Innovation Grant Scheme to boost experimental development through collaboration between academia and industry;
  • Sign an MoU with Private Sector Federation (PSF) aimed at enhancing the academia-industry collaboration.
