Post- 7th NCST Council Meeting Symposium

The post- 7th NCST Council Meeting Symposium side-line event will provide evidence that supports research and innovation to stimulate economic development. The goal is to achieve high quality of life of Rwandan citizens and industrial growth, by addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges based on research and development (R&D) outcomes to inspire innovation.

Invited renown speakers shall provide their  experiences on Technologies in designing resilient built environments, and Innovation and development highlighting how Rwanda like other African countries have powerful advantages based on abundance of resources (sun, land, and water) to power industrial development, and to provide an export platform.

The revival of agriculture as a high-tech industry also offers new opportunities to leapfrog into green technologies. Thus, Rwanda like many African countries should be allowed policy space to nurture their local firms.
